The Terminator and EDTA Suppositories
Living In the Terminator movies, the leader of the
Resistance John Connor is fighting a war in the future against metal
cyborg assassins for the survival of the human race. Cyborg
assassins controlled by artificially intelligent computer-controlled
machines that are bent on the annihilation of the human race so they
can rule the world for themselves. These cyborg assassins are the
ones called "Terminator" and they are built by Skynet. Skynet is an
artificial intelligence network that was created by Cyberdyne
Systems that in the future has gained self-awareness and launched a
major nuclear war against humanity. Although we all know that the
Terminator movie is a work of friction but somehow in our present
times we are also having a war against heavy metals just like the
metal cyborgs in the movie.
It just seems hard to disregard the similarities of the two. In the
movie, man is attacked by metals, in real life we are also being
attacked by metals. Metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury,
copper, iron, nickel and mercury if accumulated too much in our body
can bring us all a lot of diseases and ailments. Disease and
ailments such as heart diseases, stroke, varicose veins, memory
loss, muscle pains, mental confusion, chronic fatigue, vision
problems, allergies and many more. Exposure to these metals come in
different shapes and sizes. They can be coming from the water
supply, environment, industrial, hobbies, pesticides, insecticides,
paint, dental fillings and many more. In the future (according to
the movie), metal cyborgs are out to kill us. In the present life,
the story is still the same, metals are out to kill us.
And speaking of mercury, there is a Terminator character called the
T-1000 which was played by Robert Patrick that looked like liquid
mercury. The T-1000 character was an advanced prototype that was
programmed to kill John Connor. It could take in any shape and
appearance of anything it touches that had its equivalent size. It
could shape itself into knives or stabbing weapons but not
explosives, guns or machines that have moving parts or chemical. The
T-1000 was made of mimetic alloy, a liquid metal that looked quite
the same as liquid mercury.
And speaking of mercury, it is one of the leading sources for heavy
metal poisoning today. Its symptoms include excess salivation,
gingivitis, metallic taste in the mouth, tremors, stomach and kidney
troubles. It also has mental symptoms that includes irritability,
shyness, apathy, depression, psychosis, anorexia and mental
deterioration. A major source for mercury is dental fillings. Looks
like we can't escape mercury but who is going to save us in this
